Nylon sock on hang rather than shea butter

Hey guys,

Just wanted to post about a technique I've been using that I haven't seen people post about elsewhere. Another ball stretcher turned me onto this.

As you can see in the pictures, I just roll up a little nylon sock (I got a box of them at Walmart, marketed as something like "women's knee highs") and place the weight on top of it. The sock allows the weight to slide against your hang as shea butter does, but it isn't sticky and obviously doesn't require reapplication. It also has the added benefit of insulating your hang, helping keep things warm and loose, and protecting the skin of your scrotum from unwanted friction (say, against the fabric or middle seam of your pants).

The only practical drawback is that you cannot monitor your balls for color, so I suppose I would only recommend this if you're already comfortable with your weights and know they aren't too tight or anything like that.

I know the sock looks a little silly, but I still prefer it for wearing weights outside of the house since I don't like dealing with the shea butter and I don't like having my crotch slathered in lotion all the time. I'll still use shea butter when I'm at home and lounging around without pants on, but at work I definitely prefer wearing the sock.

Anyone else ever do this?

Do the same.. feels great and no friction. Use a lot when I work out, ride bikes etc..

Deenutz... thanks for posting the nylon hang! I will definitely try it. Question, is that a jockstrap you're wearing? I've seen my share of male underwear, but I don't think I've seen a pair that only has an opening for the balls. And I live in New York City! LOL

It's actually a thong! They are Good Devil Ballz Out underwear. Unfortunately I believe they've been discontinued for a while now--good underwear for us ball stretchers, but unpopular (understandably) for most other consumers

Deeznuts - Another vote YES for nylon socks. I still apply shea butter, then put on a sock, keeping the boys well lubricated. The sock keep things warm and low. I wrap the top end of the sock around the weights so there's no cold metal against my thighs. Everything's nice and cozy, though maybe not as hot to look at.

Yeah!! :D

Good morning, guys. How are you doing?

Thanks a lot for creating this topic; it’s been really helpful. I’ve just bought some nylon socks to use in this way, exactly because shea butter alone wasn’t enough to keep my skin hydrated and prevent friction. Also, I didn’t adapt well to using regular socks; I find they squeeze my balls too much.

So, I bought the nylon socks and, when I came back here to check the forum, I found this topic. It’s great to know I made the right choice. I’m still going to keep using shea butter and Bepantol to moisturize the skin and make sure that any small injuries, even the ones that are barely noticeable, are properly taken care of and heal well. But the nylon socks will definitely help a lot with this.

Deeznutz, can you upload again the two pictures? They are not available.
Please, pictures are better than words.

I tried, I think, too many weight for a too long time with a too high length.
Between my balls and the first ring, my skin is injured, red, and healing.

Oh, I see... I've had that happen in the past with my first weights. A bit of Bepanthen and freeballing for a few days, and your balls will be healed and ready for stretching again.

Interesting idea - want to try! Can someone please post an image of the nylon socks? Looks like the original so images are no longer found - thank you
